I grew up in rural upstate New York, and found myself constantly trying to draw the wonders of nature that surrounded me. The traditional mediums such as the airbrush, pen and ink, watercolor and acrylic paints are still by far my favorite mediums for creating and experimenting. Although these mediums are used far less frequently in the digital age, I believe there is still nothing like the detail, look and texture of paint spread on canvas or board.
