    Critiquing perception and discussing optical illusion. This piece is a perfect example of necessitating direct engagement with how my work is perceived. The black masking tape forms an awkward and asymmetrical shape until the viewer locates the one position on the stairs in which to read the piece 'correctly'. I am challenging specific education institutions' insincere push to educate it's students to critique artwork through limited perception. Read Less
