Spring 2015 Marketing Booklet

In 2015 Chantecaille Beaute Inc launched Le Magnolia Eye & Cheek Palette. A makeup palette that supported the efforts of TRAFFIC, a charity that encourages the widespread adoption of the FairWild Standard. A standard that will help improve the future of wild plants and the livelihood of the people who collect them.

As a personal project I wanted to create a marketing brochure that highlighted the beautiful products launched for the Chantecaille Spring 2015 Collection and help spread the message of TRAFFIC. 
We are inspired by TRAFFIC’s efforts to encourage the widespread adoption of the FairWild Standard. 

A standard that will help improve the future of our wild plant species and the livelihood of the indigenous people who collect them. As the beauty and healthcare industries’ demand for wild plant ingredients increase, some wild plant populations and the ecosystems that support them have become increasingly threatened.

Over-harvested for its bark’s traditional medicinal properties, Houpu Magnolia is exceedingly rare in its wild native habitats in China. It is extremely important to us that the natural ingredients we use are sourced and harvested in a socially and ecologically sound way.
To represent our commitment to the FairWild Standard, we have embossed each limited edition eye and cheek shade with a magnolia – a popular, wild-collected plant used in Traditional Chinese Medicine and in many of our formulas.
A portion of the proceeds from Le Magnolia Eye and Cheek Palette will be donated to TRAFFIC.
