宋英體是歐文字體。意念源於一個假設：如果拉丁字母是由中國人發明，那麼字體會是怎樣？會否像現時的宋體？由毛筆字慢慢演變而成。設計宋英體的目的便是想探求這個假設的結果。由宋體各筆劃拼湊而成各拉丁字母，混合了中西美學設計。風格較硬朗銳利，較少傳統書法味道。此字為裝飾字體，適用於標題字。

Sung Ying is a Latin typeface. The idea is a hypothesis that if the Latin alpabet were to be created by Chinese, what is the typeface like. Is it like the morden Sung which is developed by the calligraphy. The aim of the design is to explore the results of the hypothesis. The typeface is combined by the strokes of Sung with Chinese and English aesthetics.
