This is a selection of some of the better photos from weekend racing at Barstow Mx. The Williams family were kind enough to let me tag along with them as Edward (NO. 401) and Patch (NO. 299) Williams were taking part in the racing. The AMCA organised event was lively and buzzing with atmosphere as each class entered the starting gate for each of their races. The pace of all the racing over the weekend gradually picked up as the tacky, clay-like track dried out after the constant pounding from the MX bikes. This lead to some great racing as the riders became more confident as the day went on; leading to some intense battles. The weekend was marked by honouring a veteran member of the club who had sadly passed away. This was honoured with all of the riders taking part in a parade lap around the track, something quite fitting fro every lover of Motocross.

                                                                                  I feel as though my skills with Action Sports are increasing every time I shoot. There framing of my images seems to be improving, as does the timing in which I press the button to release the shutter to capture that perfect moment. Something I feel as though I have a slight addiction toward. Overall Im really pleased with the outcome of these images. So much so that Id decide to edit these in the small ways such as colour enhancement and clarity of images on Camera Raw. I try to steal away from any heavy editing with Sports photography because sometimes It can create a false element to the images; when the focus is to keep authenticity, and to document.
