Lost. We discovered this valley quite by accident, had to stop the car in the road, as there was no where to pull off. The French Alps were way off in the distance to our right.
Pont Julian, ancient Roman bridge named for Julius Ceasar. It was built without mortar, and has stood proudly for thousands of years. It is now used as part of a bicycle trail.
Stree in Arles, I was thinking, surely Van Gogh walked this alley at some time?
