Typography is something we have constantly being displayed in front of us. Knowing which one we should use because is is the best - when it comes to legibility - is hard.
Studying typography allowed me to create my own typefaces, three different ones to be used in specific and different situations.
Lumina Light
A serif typeface that can be used for headlines or simply for writing a story.
It's a light font that works well in a big text as it makes it's appearance lighter and, therefore, easy to read.
Fluidita
A san serif typeface specifically created to a brand: a baby products brand.
The new font comes with the serenity related to a baby.
Mellow
Mellow is a sans serif typeface created with an editorial purpose.
It was thought to be used in big sizes, as in titles, subtitles or headlines, although it can also be used in pull outs or even some information that needs to stand out from everything else, of course this doesn't mean it can't be used with other purposes.
When Mellow was being designed, I thought of it as a typeface that could be used in a culinary book, with dessert recipes specially.
A compilation of three different typefaces I've created.
