Where Rubber Meets Road was created using rubber bands, foam board, straight pins, and Photoshop.

Each letter was crafted using a #64 rubber band, manipulated into shape on a black foam board using straight pins, and then photographed with a Sony a77 camera using natural lighting. Photoshop was used to isolate each letter, with a little smudging to hide any evidence of pins. Once placed on the background image, a shadow fx was applied to simulate the natural shadow from the original photos.
