As a final thesis project on my graphic design studies, I did "Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds" special collector's edition, with 3 of my favorite albums and a "thesis" book.
"Thesis book" contains part about the band, their discography, my illustrations, creative process and method I've used to make everything, typography I've used...
Three albums I've chosen for this project are "Let Love In", "Boatman's Call" and "No More Shall We Part".
Each album cover is made from a part of a Nick Cave portrait and together they make a whole. Each album is presented with a different colour.
Inspiration for art I found on many places - internet and graphic novels mostly.
Illustrations are made to be in comic book style; some have one and some multiple panels.
I've chosen comic book style as a unique way to tell stories Nick Cave wrote in his lyrics. And because I love comic books.
