    It is a 4 days workshop project, called wearable technology. Our team developed a glove with a distance sensor that would indicate to the user that they were approaching an object. The target user group mainly focusing on visually impaired people. We named the product as Synesthesia. Our main focus was on the use at home or working spaces, places where the walking sticks are not the most effective. We used Lilypad, distance sensor micro-vibrator and micro-speaker hardwares, plus Arduino as the coding software. Read Less

Synestheias glove is a four days workshop project, called wearable technology. Our team developed a glove with a distance sensor that would indicate to the user that they were approaching an object. Synestheias手套是一个四天的培训课项目,名为可穿戴科技。我们的团队开发了一款可感应距离的手套,其手套可以引导用户当他(她)们接近一个物体。我们产品功能主要集中适应于当盲杖不起作用的家庭和工作环境里。我们运用到了Lilypad,距离感应器,微型振动器和微型音响等硬件,加上编程软件Arduino。
