The purpose of this simple redesign project was to update the homepage of Australian telecom provider Amaysim, found at www.amaysim.com.au, with a minimal and responsive design. While I appreciated the bold orange colour scheme, I found the layout was simply too cluttered and not ordered by the importance of the content being presented.
By simplifying the navigation, shrinking the promotional gallery and displaying the awards next to the subscribe form my design makes much better use of a fullscreen window (keeping important content above the fold) while also incorporating reponsive design to fit any device or window size. This change will have a positive impact on social media conversion rates as the links for accessing these pages and the company's mobile apps are more prominent and no longer hidden at the bottom of a long page.
Coded with HTML and CSS, the only external library used was Font Awesome for the icons.
