The American Cancer Society’s newest partner is the Rugged Maniac Obstacle Race. Rugged Maniac is an intense, obstacle-heavy 5K race. The courses include natural elements for participants to overcome, such as trees, mud, and numerous hills, as well as inventions of its own design. It’s not uncommon, for example, to discover giant trampolines, elaborate jungle gyms, and even fiery barricades.
