The Simpsons meet coffee & donuts

Homer Simpson meets Dunkin' Donuts
Using Homer worked well for both because the vintage logo had an actual donut man in a similar pose; as well as, the eye line of homer works well for the smoking coffee cup in the current version. The font is a blend of the shape of the current font with the movement of the vintage font.
Flanders meets Krispy Kreme
Flanders' moustache as the encompassing graphic, rather than the iconic bow tie, worked well because it not only did it silhouette the patented moustache but it also resembles a filled creme donut which adds to the aesthetic.
Krusty the Clown meets Starbucks
Krusty's hair naturally mirrored the fins of the mermaid used in the original Starbucks logo. Also, because Krusty is more of a liquor drinker than coffee drinker, I replaced the stars with flasks. (it may just be Bailey's, haha)
