The exhibition aim is to give back to the visitors the urban’s soundscape and breath of the city of Reggio Emilia.The audio materials was collected in specific spots of the city, then it was mixed by a sound artist and reproduced through 4 audio devices in an interactive installation, taking place at Spazio Gerra art center.
The visitors have the chance to interact and explore the sound of their own city in a different and playfull way.
Starting from a collection of recordings of the recent past of the city to a huge map where the sounds are displaced spatially. At the last floor of the center several complete mix stations allow the pubblic to play with the sounds and record their own remix.
