MAMA BIRD: I made this for a local Korean retiree who now makes and sells authentic Korean food at the farmer's market. She treats every customer like they're her child. She is amazing and makes wonderful traditional Korean food and raises free-range poultry and sells their eggs as well. She has so much personality it is infectious. You stop at her booth and feel so taken care of and desired.

TOMATOED!: I made this cover design for an amateur art/literary magazine. I like things a little unexpected, instead of trying to make the publication something it wasn't, such as a professional curated art/literary mag, I wan't to play a bit with the amateur idea. To me it says, "Go ahead! Throw a tomato! I'm still proud to display my art" and to me that is more interesting and desirable than some overtly generic, unself-aware, trying-to-hard, amateur art mag.
