405 DIALOGUES
Immersive Kinetic Light Installation
405 Dialogues is a kinetic site-specific installation that makes light and movement its key elements. The installation explores the relationship between light and the surrounding space by generating communication artifacts born by the interaction of these elements. 405 nanometres is the wave length of the visible light in this installation, an ethereal flux of 100 lasers in continuous evolution that dialogues with the surroundings.
405 Dialogues can be presented as an autonomous/independent installation or as a 10 minute live performance. An emotional crescendo where the bars oscillation, linked with the light and the sound, play with the perception of the point of view of the spectator.
A dialogue that calls the spectator to understand it’s dynamics.
405 Dialogues was presented premiered at the 2016 RO-MAP Interactive Light Festival of Rome in the Palazzo Altemps cloister, one of the most prestigious ancient buildings in Rome. Over 5,000 people attended the performances during the three days of the festival, creating more than 60 replicas of the performance.
