Stephen Ministry "One Thing" Campaign
Stephen Ministry at my church was looking to recruit volunteers willing to go through training to become Stephen Ministers. Most people don't know what Stephen Ministers do. So, our job was to not only recruit, but educate.
Print Material or a Website was not going to be sufficient. So we brought a skit to the congregation. We were writing an original script when we came across "The Skit Guys" script. It fit perfectly, so we purchased it and made some edits to make it "Stephen Ministry" specific.
We modified a script from "The Skit Guys" to fit Stephen Ministry promotion. We modified the script to include Stephen Ministry info and added elements to help make it work live including the use of lights and live music.
The band coming out afterward and playing "You Never Let Go" helped take it to the next level. By the end of the worship set, there wasn't a dry eye in the place. God truly moved in this day's service. It was exciting to be a part of that.
