.Hombre Normal (Normal Man) is a personal project carried out on the Instagram network that reflects the everyday life of a normal man played by an action figure.
On a network like InstaGram, where every user is looking for uniqueness and pretending to be supercool in order to gain new followers, and where normality is clearly underestimated, the Normal Man vindicates normality through common situations that make his followers laugh, think and interact with him to get in touch with their own normality.
In this way, we realise everybody is the Normal Man, everybody shares his hopes and dreams, his misfortunes, his anger or his outlook on life.
The Normal Man is a response to a society that has lost most of the values that made it great, ironically upgrading normality to be the newest, trendiest, most supercool thing ever.
The fact that Normal Man is not a real person, but an action figure confronted with a real environment with real people emphasizes the abnormality of being normal.
