For my capstone project I wanted to do a typeface. I’ve designed typefaces in different styles but not in a script format. So I took my handwriting and turned it into a typeface. But this only solved half the problem, the other half was how could I take this further. So I used OpenType to code in Glyph Subsitution to include custom ligatures and letters that change when you type, so this typeface will look different as you type, the letters will not look the same, it will look more human.

To make this project more interesting I included two more style, the normal style was named Calm, and I added one name Anxious and another named Fleeting to help portray a further range of emotions.

The vessel for this project was simple, people who have seen this project noted that this was a very personal project, something close to me. So I made it more personal, I portrayed the typefaces in a journal format, with actual entries from my own personal journal based on real events from my life. I had to include moments of my life where I was troubled and anxious and moments where I was in fleeting bliss.
