"Sakhi Saheliyon Ki Pushtak" is a proposed design for the training manual for the AAG (Action for Adolescent Girls). AAG project aims to educate adolescents girls of rural India about health and sex by communicating through meetings. These meetings are held in collaboration with multiple NGOs in the rural villages of Udaipur district, South Rajasthan. The training manual is for the meetings which is held with the peer educators to educate the adolescent girls in the villages of Udaipur district.
Rural Indians are not exposed a different visual aesthetic than the urban population of India and are not used to reading text and images. Hence, the challenge was to make the design extremely legible with simple and readable typography.
Lehrein is a logo for the AAG project.
