Assist-on is an online technical support application that works over WhatsApp. Thanks to Asist-on, the users who has to deal with a problem with their electronic device can get technical support from the application in a single step in the fastest way. I took part in this project as project manager, art director and illustrator. The process, which started with logo and branding design, continued with the character design of the brand, and finished with UI and web site designs.
Since it is a system that works through WhatsApp, I used the speech bubble of WhatsApp and its color in the logo design. And the other color, the dark blue color makes you feel the technological aspect of the product. I chose to design a call center employee as the brand mascot because the end user in the system communicates directly with the call center employee via WhatsApp. The character I designed is a cute and clever looking one to make the user feel comfort and in the right hands.
While designing the UI and the website (as the product includes technical support for all kinds of electronic devices, not only computers or high technology products), I paid attention to make it as easy to understand and fast to use as possible considering that the user could be a person of every ages.
