LAVANA - A Fine Dining Restaurant at Hyatt Regency Gurgaon
Located on the first floor, Lavana serves authentic Awadhi cuisine and recreates the magic of the bygone Nawabi era with home style dishes, a private dining space.The restaurant offers a captivating ambience and a repertoire of royal favourites with intricate wooden trellis work on a backlit ceiling, artistically carved wooden arches and exquisite antique objets d'art.
Lavana brings out the essence and inherent flavours of the revered Awadhi cuisine that is strongly influenced by traditional cooking techniques, confluence of the choicest and richest ingredients and age old recipes.
Challenge was to create an identity & collateral design for this fine dining restaurant.

Logo: The meaning of lavana is salt, which is the core essence of cooking in an Indian restaurant. Keeping the essence and décor of the restaurant in mind I have started sketching the logo.
The design inside letter “a” is a combination of design elements in the interior of the restaurant itself & the form of top of the salt dispenser.
Font used is sleek bringing in the contemporary style to an traditional ambiance.
