Blogbank is a blogging platform that monetizes individual stories through reader donations as well as ad revenue. All money generated by a story goes directly to its author.

Within the post page, you can see where Blogbank put their spin on blogging: the chance to 'donate' to a blogger for a story you liked. Revenue from ads within posts also goes directly to the blogger.

The verbiage used within the site was an important part of making Blogbank feel like a community. The personality of the site is friendly, familiar, and jocular.

Bloggers have access to a detailed bank view.
