VACUUM CLEANER
The conventional vacuum cleaner sometimes becomes less practical since the electric cord conditions the users movements or by the way it’s dragged around while being used.
The idea is to put in the hands of the user a vacuum cleaner whose usability is equated to the use of a broom, and thereby allow the user to vacuum, making the movements already assimilated by the usage of the broom.
A vacuum cleaner being a tool of everyday life and an indispensable household appliance for a dwelling is intended to meet its function and form typical of a broom, providing a rich interaction and improved usability.
Thanks to the use of small flexible tubes, this object is designed to vacuum or clean areas or corners where brooms and vacuum cleaners today have difficulty reaching.
This equipment consists of two elements: the vacuum cleaner (with its shape inspired by a broom) and the charger (with its shape inspired by a bucket, indicates the battery status).
The vacuum cleaner consists of the following elements:
battery (at the bottom), dust deposit in broomstick (where is located the dust storage bag), LCD (indicating battery levels and rate of vacuum), vacuum system(at the bottom of the vacuum cleaner where the fan and electric motor) and the head of the vacuum cleaner (consisting of flexible tubes of polyethylene, which lets in the dust)
Regarding production processes its easily fragmented in parts which can be injected in polyethylene. It was designed for easy assembly of components at the factory, as the following figure illustrates:
