Earlier this year "Excision" came up to me and asked me if I could do the cover artwork for his “Shambhala Mix 2016”.
As I am a big dubstep fan, I couldn’t say no to that. Now, that the mix is released I can share this project…
The briefing was straight forward: take the aesthetics of my “faker-bot” and make a mech-style “X” out of it. Below you can see my final proposals which are kind of a daytonerized version of the actual coverart. More on my new www.instagram.com/day_toner
