This pro social advertisement was conceived as part of the global MTV Switch Campaign in order to raise awareness of the environmental damage we are producing every day. In the name of a “healthy” economy and wealth of western civilisations the exploitation of our earth has become business as usual.
Portraying the pollution of our globe with a human being’s reaction gives the sickening world a face and therefore becomes more tangible to audiences. The capitalisation on our environment shows like the cracks on the skin of the young girl.
