IED Design Window Display

The brief was to design the window of IED Barcelona with the aim of displaying the student's work from the design department. The existing space consisted on four windows where selected works from product, interior and transport design and sketch workshops would be placed. There were no objects to display but rather digital images, therefore leading to the challenge of bringing all this different areas together in a coherent way.
Firstly, each window includes a particular area of design as there were exactly four areas to display. Secondly, there were different ways of perceiving these windows from the street. On the pedestrian view, there were three perspectives: one where the user is walking on the sidewalk next to the windows (gradual discovery of the content); one where the user comes from the street across the corner  (the eye meets IED for the first time at a distance); and one in front of the school’s entrance (overview of the four windows as a whole). Lastly, the vehicle perspective attended the need for a triggering visual content.
Therefore, this project consists on the a lenticular effect where two sides of content are displayed: one aimed at being read from a distance, where the IED red colour stands out; and a content one, decomposing project images of the works of each area of design.
