To continue my dog Theme for the calendar I decided to do a fur text and pattern for the month of June. I found really cool close up of "deer fur" and used that as a background image, and then I used some very detailed fur off of a black-and-gray wolf and used a layer mask over the text to reveal the wolfs fur and blend it in with the deers. I then added an overlay stroke to the month text to have it blend in better. This was probably my favorite month to do because it was challenging to make it look like it flowed well, and it required a lot of fine tuning.
