ExpIFF was the first iteration of the Bucharest International Experimental Film Festival, which took place in late November 2010. Celebrating films made on cutting edge concepts (or with no premeditated concepts at all), the event unfolded over a period of 5 days and brought attention upon a new way to look at cinema.

The organizers commissioned our studio to deliver this message in a clear graphical approach.

We've worked on the concept with Festival Director, Prof. Moscu Copel, a dialogue which resulted in the iconic razor-treading snail (based on the urban myth that the snail is the only creature that can walk on the full length of a razor and escape unharmed). Although we did not experiment on any snails to confirm this hypothesis, the image reflected nothing less than the daring of experimental movie makers.

The logo was accompanied by a full range of communication materials, from posters to handbags.
