Peggle 2 was originally an XBOX launch title that came out in December of 2013. (Later it was ported to PS4) I joined the Peggle 2 team in the early stages and helped take it from Pre-Production to a shipped title, and supported it with post-launch DLC. I was a UI/UX Designer, Background Artist, and a Character & Background Animator on the project.
Example of Peggle 2's main lobby menu. I designed the UX flow and created the visuals for the button UI, the pedestal, icons, animated the UI and background, and did some 2D painting support on the background image.
I designed, animated, and painted the HUD for Peggle 2, some of the individual assets are shown in the image above.
I made motion storyboards for the backgrounds before working with the other artists and designers to implement the work. Once the storyboard and plan was made, I'd paint the backgrounds or work with other artists on what was needed before I'd animate the background images for each level in the game editor.
I animated the character Luna in Peggle 2. The video above shows a snippet of some of the animations I made for her. I hand animated her dress, cloak, and the blue fire in her eyes.
