THE BRIEF:
Create a new strategy, concept and corporate identity for the film production company Navigator Films in Cape Town.

THE SOLUTION:
Navigator considers the ideas and visions of their clients to be of the utmost importance, and will do everything within their power to make them come to life. The concept revolves around the visions and ideas emerging in a dream-like fashion from a variety of ‘heads’ (minds), giving the Navigator brand a fantastical, magical feel. Lines like ‘Your vision into reality’ and ‘Release your vision’ accompanied these illustrations. We personalised each of the partners’ business cards by using their portraits to create their own ‘visions’ - using the characteristics of each person to make up the stories created on the card.

Among the collateral created was a new logo, business cards, comp slips, letterheads, stickers, and a new website. An elegant ‘vision’ box was created to send to potential international clients. It included information on the company’s philosophy and services, as well as inspiring ‘thought cards’, a sketch pad, pencils, a sharpener, ruler, business cards and a flash disk. The concept was for the box to inspire and encourage potential clients to explore their creativity and bring their ideas and visions to Navigator, so they could turn them into reality.
