    Waldo Trommler Paints The brightest brand of paints Objective In 2011 Reynolds and Reyner has finished two huge projects redesigning international brands of paints. After that they were asked to develop a new visual identity for a small Finnish company which was planning to enter the U.S. market. Without the past, unlike the majority of existing brands in the segment, but believing in the future, the key to access the market was a package design. "We don't just need - we must! stand out" - this phrase has become the basis at work on a new brand identity. Process How to create a brand that stands out? We need to find the design solution that hasn't been used by any of the competitors. At the same time showing the main features of the company - friendliness, quality and innovation. Waldo Trommler Paints: the world’s brightest brand of paints. Waldo Trommler Paints is a small Finnish company planning to enter the US market. Unlike the majority of existing brands in their category, Waldo Trommler didn’t have an established history and they believed the key to accessing the market was unique package design. The phrase “we must stand out!” became the basis for our work on their new brand identity. How do you create a brand that stands out? First, we needed a design solution that wasn’t being used by any of Waldo Trommler’s competitors. At the same time, we needed to show the main features of the company: friendliness, quality and innovation. Ultimately, we created a brand with no corporate colors. Waldo Trommler Paints simply features common design elements that are recolored in a wide array of bright hues, depending on the application. This helps Waldo Trommler Paints not only achieve its goal of standing out, but helps cast the them as the friendliest paint company on shelves today.
