Power Glove: Album Cover

The objective was to create a style for the album artwork using glitched imagery to convey the mood of the music the band creates.The band’s music can be described as “8-Bit rock” and electronic video game beat, so glitched imagery compliments the sound.

The jpeg code was altered it to create the glitched effect for an overlay for the pixel illustration that was further manipulated for the final composition.

The accompanying poster is an icon 80's pixel illustration of a controller called "Power Glove". The Illustration was then overlayed with another 80's image that the code was glitched to tie in the colors and textures of the cover. The typography was manipulated in a pixelated sort of way to match the feel of the music.
