CT-2-3D Workshop
After recently acquiring a Makerbot, the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences campus reach to us for two reasons: a custom 3d printing / medical consultation to unleash all possible 3d printable application for their FFF printer and to streamline the digital intensive process of converting CT Scan data into clean/optimized 3d printable .STL files. 
The outcome was a lecture including all possible 3d printing applications for FDM 3d printers, from CT data visualization to lab tools fabrication and a linear workshop for converting CT scan data to .STL files emphasizing time-efficiency and cost-efficiency with the use of open source / free software.
