Concept:
Enter the project was to create a school at Barrandov. Land on which school should be on one side bordered by highway bypass, the second panel and the third settlement, fragmentation of family houses. Accordingly, it was also important design concept. The building is based on a simple idea to create a central space, which creates a quiet zone, allowing screening of a busy environment. The mass of the building is divided into teaching, quiet and noisy part, the art of dancing and school sports facilities. Around a central courtyard with a corridor connecting the coils teaching spaces with the rest of the school, classrooms are designed to be, the best being viewed.
At the same time prevents overheating inserted window space. The same principle was used also in the main mass. The entrance area is a multi-purpose hall, which serves a combination of dining and dancing parts, serves as leaseable space for private events. The staircase is a solid stand, and the space serves as a universal classroom. On the north side of the building is a gym lit by large windows.
