Creation of this calendar was dedicated to 175th anniversary of a story “Evenings on a Farm Near Dikanka» written by Nikolai Gogol.
ture and folklore.The main character is a cossack, who is traditional historical person with a forelock, long mustache and dressed in typical man’s Sharovary and Kozhukh. Also here is samples of vernacular architecture - huts (used by farmers for drying herbs), farmhouses and windmills.
