Jewelry trends are appearing in creative clusters, seen within the West Palm Beach community and surrounding areas of fashionable South Florida. A new world of culture and craftsmanship focused new collections have been released for Summer 2011, and their bold statements are already becoming a highly sought after commodity. A strong and fundamental of presence of global, planetary and metaphysical elements have spotted in several spectacular jewelry pieces.

  

Innovative Designers and Jewelers, including Stephen Webster, Cartier and Chanel appear to be fueling a fundamental foreshadowing jewelry designs for 2012. This summer marks the first opening of a Stephen Webster fine jewelry store to open in the United States, as well as the first collaboration in fine jewelry between a British jeweler and American musician.

These high-profile landmarks in jewelry design, collaboration and availability have all contributed to the demand of these unique pieces in South Florida growing much larger than the available supply. As many of these fine jewelry creations are one-of-a-kind, and completing each piece is often times a time-consuming process, locals will have to hope for the best as the jewelers and designers both across the pond and in the states begin to blend more intricately with one another.

Karl Lagerfeld, Creative Director and Designer for Chanel, brought Chanel's cultural exposure to new found heights with the 2011/2012 Cruise Collection and the accompanying Short Film, ‘The Tale of a Fairy’. Lagerfeld's jewelry designs continue to bring a broader sense of global influence to his pieces.

At the Chanel Parisian Metiers d’Art show, a dazzling necklace was on display with decadent pearls and a precisely woven, reminiscent of historic Roman and Oriental jewelry design. The daring Chanel piece? A tribute to the fifth-century Byzantine empress, Theodora, with dense ornaments and intricate metal weaving.

Cartier shows a glimmering appreciation for their relationship with the maharajahs of India, which propelled success for the jeweler with exceptionally colored jewels in the early 20th century. A one-kilogram gold coin, bearing a spectacular image of Taj Mahal were designed in precision artistry and placed in customized luxury cases for the French mint La Monnaie de Paris.

Pete Doherty, a popular American musician, is introducing a jewelry collection in collaboration with British jeweler, Hannah Martin. The designs are fluent with attributions to history and evolution, with an obvious adoration of elephants and antiques. The collection will be exclusively sold in Brittain, exhibiting an innovative use of matter rarely found in jewelry, including fossilized mammoth bones.

The unique designs of London-based jewelry designer, Stephen Webster are available in the U.S. for the first time, with the opening of his first American jewelry store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, CA

. The London jeweler is known for bold designs that are striking, sexual and controversial, including symbolic re-creations that embody 'The Seven Deadly Sins'.
