P O L V E L L A
The new series POLVELLA was made for Janine's solo exhibitions in
Guan Shanyue Art Museum (Shenzhen, China) and Yantai City Art Museum (Yantai, China).
Additionally, a satellite exhibition was held at Visavuori Museum in Finland,
where Janine exhibited the illustration series as unique wooden art pieces.
The artwork pieces were cut out of plywood using water-cutting technique,
then the pieces were individually spray painted and finally
assembled layer by layer into art pieces.
