The exhibition ‘Re-imagining An Archipelago’ is The 1984's own loose translation of their homeland, Indonesia. Using mostly collage technique to transform existing images of pre-war environment, we re-imagine what it feels like to discover the enchanting tribes and remote places in the region.
「列島の再想像」展では、Ｔｈｅ １９８４ が母国であるインドネシアを主観的に解釈した。コラージュがメインで、既存の戦前環境画像を変化させ、国の様々な民族や辺地を見つけた時の感情を再想像した。
