Lookbook design for movie "De Familie van Heesch"
This design is my graduation assignment. The client is production company Revolver Amsterdam. I created the concept together with the film producer. Then the producer invited a writer to extent the story.

The lookbook will showcase all the ideas including the concept, story, shooting set and picture colors. I want the lookbook to be in book size. Since our story is about a family and a secret herbal tea recipe, I think it will be nice to print the lookbook in normal book paper. To make it look more classic. The size of the lookbook is 153mm X 228mm.

I designed the cover of this lookbook in an ArtDeco style to give it an elegant and classy feeling. I got inspiration from The Great Gatsby movie poster. I put colors into the shapes, to make the black and white image less intense and more friendly. Like church windows. I googled for classic colors of the 1920s. After some discussion and comparison with my supervisor, we decided to use the color of Translucent Vision (green) and Namaqua Daisy (yellow). The logo of our movie is on the inside page of the lookbook. ArtDeco style stripes are on the top and the bottom of each page.

The lookbook includes content of Logline, Synopsis, Biography of director, screenwriter and the production company, cinematography, production design, color palate, reference films, potential sponsors, playlist and a series of pictures that illustrate the atmosphere of the movie.
