When a guest checks into a business hotel, the focus of his visit is not today but tomorrow. Whether it's a business presentation, a trade show or a wedding, the first night is about preparing for the big event and Hilton Garden Inn is there to make it a success. The campaign saw awareness hold steady in a time when others in the travel industry were shrinking. To top it off, Tomorrow's a Big Day organically became a corporate rallying cry both domestically and internationally.
HGI is the hotel that prepares their guests for all of their big days. To support that idea these ads were placed in USA Today the day before the selected event or holiday. The ads were also supported online by a special landing page containing tips, advice and other information of ways to make the most of the following day.
Research showed that a large portion of male business travelers follow sports on all the major networks. We negotiated a daily Tomorrow's a Big Day segment on Fox Sports. A preview of all of tomorrow's big sports events brought to you by Hilton Garden Inn.
The challenge for most business hotels is to attracted guest for non-business related events. These posters were placed in the hotel elevators to encourage weekend stays.
