The 3D trademark grid developed for Stills in Amsterdam translated into a minimalistic line.
Stills philosofy
'Stillness in the city is the starting point for the shop concepts of Stills studio.'The sophistication of Stills studio is in the love and intensity the widely varying textures and materials are examined, treated and eventually processed into shape. We have enlarged this deeper dimension in material to create a 3D fabric, an open structure with which we fill the space. The result in the Antwerp store is distinct and modern - which flows beautifully into the design quality and ambition of Stills studio - however, the overall experience is just very serene.
Raw & refined
The 3D grid as designed in Amsterdam, has been translated into a stilled, minimalist version for the store in Antwerp. A continuous straight line passes through the two floors of the store and creates an exciting spatial layout, with a minimal use of material. The original concrete structures and the new graphical elements have a similar soft gray.
