As part of my studies at the Dublin Institute of Design I undertook the Photography Module. It comprised of 2 parts, a technical aspect to enable us to learn the controls of a camera better & then a Macro Photography project.

The brief was simple - gather a large library of macro Images using a variety of techniques and subjects and then create an event poster from the library of collected images.

After numerous days of shooting a variety of subjects, a nice break away to the local zoo gave me the opportunity to shoot some of their beautiful butterflies in their habitats. Lucky to get the shots I did, I said I would have to use them in the event poster and what better an event to do then a wildlife and nature day course.
