"Through the years and the different cultures, the butterfly has been a symbol of death to some, the purest representation of the cycle of human life (metamorphosis) for others, or, it is said that the butterfly is a messenger who helps souls to communicate with their loved ones on earth.

In Mexico, the monarch butterfly is the subject of many  legends and beliefs that have been passed from generation to generation, celebrating every year to their arrival in our country.

Legend says that butterflies are the souls of our loved ones who return to earth to visit us one more time, coinciding precisely with the dates of our traditional Day of the Dead celebration.

Some say that if you look carefully the wings of butterflies, you will find the shape of human faces, delicately represented with black lines that adorn the beautiful wings of fire of this insect.

It is said, that if something was needed to be said to our loved ones that has gone, you must capture a butterfly with enough care not to hurt her, whisper the message and set her free. In gratitude butterfly will fly back to heaven, to deliver the message that has been entrusted. There is no better messenger than a butterfly, they say, they are quiet, and are unable to reveal the message to anyone else, because they carry a whisper that can only be heard by God."
