Synopsis
Let me Be.” is a film about an autistic boy, exploring his journey through the different stages of his awareness. As his awareness grow, he start to explore and understand more about his environment, rather then being trap in his own world. During his exploration, the boy then found out the world that is out there. He creates the curiosity of people or things around him, the sounds he hear that is new and fresh to him. He wants to be a part of it. Parent’s do play an important part in the boy’s growth. The need of social inclusion for the boy will then eventually enable him to experience the world just like everyone of us when we are growing as a child. “Let me be” has lot of symbolication, an experimental approach or direction to display the idea of letting him grow as normally. A confidential letter or protection of his identity may just be a disturbance of him growing up just like any normal person would.
