SY One is the ultimate VJ tool, developed through frequencyanalysis of a variety of VJ software applications. The analysis showed that themost frequently used functions are found in the center of each application,while the less frequently used - or pared-back but expandable features - arelocated at the edge. Our application used these findings to developuser-friendly VJ software. The lighting on the graphical interface is dimmed inkeeping with the VJ's working environment, so they can work comfortably withoutlighting the rest of the venue. 2005
