Workshop was held in Vilnius Academy of Arts and it's main purpose was to learn how to collect, analyze and visualize all kinds of data. Our job was to collect a representative amount of any kind of data, analyze it and them prepare an infographic showing results of analysis.
Our team decided to collect pictures of posters in Vilnius Old Town. Over 100 examples were collected and then analyzed according to this criteria: location, poster size, type (commercial, social, cultural ad), used font style, colour, theme, people (if there are, then: male or female), style (photographic, illustrative, typographic). All of the collected information was systemized and put into an infographic, which was then printed as poster.
