This Trick (Orpheus and Eurydice)
Orpheus and Eurydice are young, beautiful, married, and obsessively in love. They live together on the seventh floor of their inner-city apartment block, seven floors being the height at which you are guaranteed death if you fall. Trapped inside their apartment - and their relationship - they play an increasingly deadly game as they become desperate to escape. Previously workshopped through FreeRange, Playlab, HotHouse Theatre, and shortlisted for the 2010 Queensland Premiers Drama Award, this is a contemporary play based on the classic Greek myth, now in its final creative development.
