Test shot of the forthcoming "The Mighty Kogar" styrene assembly kit from Moebius Models.
The model is styled and scaled to fit in with Aurora's classic "Monsters of the Movie" series of model kits. The test shot are developmental works created to determine the fit and finish of a kit before it is put into final production. This test shot was molded in a light lavender plastic. No instructions, box, or decals were included.
The kit itself is very nice, with 3 head options, 2 left-arm options, MOM-style clacker board base, and a beanie. I found no problems with assembly aside from the left-arm options; I had to slightly open up the holes in the upper left arm in order to receive the lower portion of the arm properly. Otherwise, the parts fit together very well.
I'm looking forward to the production version of this kit.
