Mutesa I, one of the early rulers of the Buganda Kingdom (who was a smooth operator), was renowned for having raised the status of the kingdom with the way he dealt with foreign visitors that came to establish strategic political and trade relations with the kingdom.

I was asked to re-imagine what the Kabaka would have looked like, alongside his 11 chiefs, as pictured in this drawing (which is a recreation of an old photo that was taken at the kingdom).

This was my re-imagining of what that photo would've looked like, in a world that (currently) only exists in my head :)
